- ➤ Drivers saw the new McGregor roundabout’s posts and signs damaged in an accident two days after its ribbon cutting, and Mayor Spiro Cheriogotis posted a video advising drivers to slow to 15 mph and follow lane rules while navigating the circle. NBC 15
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The U.S. Department of Education announced it will end the SAVE program, affecting about 115,900 Alabamians who will be moved to legal repayment plans. A new Repayment Assistance Plan is set to launch in 2026 (details pending). AL.com
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Construction of the new terminal at Mobile International Airport (BFM) is under budget and on track for a fall 2026 opening, with commercial flights set to start by November, the Mobile Airport Authority said.
