- ➤ Providence Hospital no longer accepts UnitedHealthcare as in-network coverage because its insurance contracts expired in October 2023—after five months of negotiations broke down, patients may face higher out-of-pocket costs for care at the Mobile hospital. UnitedHealthcare policyholders are advised to seek services from other USA Health facilities that remain in-network. AL.com

- ➤ No. 12 Alabama will host No. 11 Oklahoma at Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.—this eighth meeting comes as Alabama seeks to rebound after last season’s loss by using its strong turnover advantage to affect Oklahoma’s playoff chances. 1819 News
