- ➤ Children’s of Alabama will host its 12th annual Boots & BBQ Barn Bash on October 12 at 6:30 p.m. at Moe’s Original BBQ at 701 Spring Hill Avenue in downtown Mobile—attendees will pay $40 for dinner, live music, dancing and auctions to fund the Pediatric Rheumatology Clinic that treats children with autoimmune disorders. - ➤ Prodisee Pantry is urging federal employees and military families impacted by the shutdown to seek food assistance to ease budget stress and help free up funds for rent, car payments, and utilities.
