- ➤ The Alma Bryant Hurricanes, a co-ed cheerleading team of 21 led by Head Coach Lindsay Miller and Assistant Coach Jenny Morgan, were named WKRG News 5 Cheer Squad of the Week after several members earned UCA All-American honors and Pin It Forward awards. The team, which was also named Game Day Champions at the UCA Summer Camp in Auburn, is training for AHSAA and UCA competitions in October — a sign of their strong performance. WKRG News 5
