Jackson's Aggies posted a shutout, Mobile Christian won 42-6, Vigor triumphed 50-0, Leroy edged McIntosh 42-26 and Clarke County blanked Central-Hayneville 37-0. The Call News
- ➤ No.21 Alabama recorded its first win of the season with a 73—0 shutout of Louisiana-Monroe on Saturday night at home—veteran receiver Germie Bernard and perfect passer Ty Simpson led a defense that swarmed the field. Alabama will host Wisconsin on September 13 at 11 a.m. 1819 News
