The Alabama Department of Revenue is accepting online pre-commitments with 1,000 needed by May 1, 2027 & pre-commitments have jumped to nearly 800 since Parton’s passing.

The film premiered at Birmingham’s Sidewalk Film Festival this week and will screen at Fairhope Film Festival Nov. 12-15 — further Mobile screenings are planned.

Fairhope Pirates rallied in a wild game on Friday night, coming back from an early deficit to win 33-21 over Baldwin County.
Key fourth-quarter plays helped secure the win & the Pirates will host Foley on Sept. 4 for their next contest.
