Foley will host the Gulf Coast Heavy Equipment Roadeo at OWA Parks and Resort on Sept.

The Alabama Department of Revenue issued new guidance on Tuesday stating that employers should withhold tax only on wages for services performed in state — nonresident remote workers without in-state work are exempt.
Experts said the ruling reverses a COVID-era policy and clarifies withholding requirements.
Fairhope City Council approved a $421,050 contract with Fairhope Building Company LLC to move Henry Stuart’s historic round house from its U.S. 98 parking lot to Flying Creek Nature Preserve.
The relocation will occur early next year and may happen as soon as Christmas due to generous donor funding.
