Fairhope Brewing Company announced that its downtown Mobile pop-up on St. Louis Street will be converted into a permanent location and rebranded as Fairhope Brewing Company, Mobile.

The Alabama Department of Transportation will start Phase 2 upgrades to electrical and lighting in Bankhead Tunnel on Monday, August 4—work will require nightly closures beginning Tuesday, August 6 and a full weekend closure from Friday, August 8 to Monday, August 11 as motorists use alternate routes; completion is expected by the end of 2025, weather permitting.
