- ➤ Mobile police responded around 2:10 a.m. on Sunday, July 27 at Super Stop on St. Stephens Road when a man with a gun tried to rob a food truck and was fatally shot by the truck operator, who was not hurt. UTV 44
- ➤ On Saturday, Mobile County Sheriff's deputies responded to a call on Beverly Road where witnesses said 18-year-old Jailen Lupton allegedly beat her grandmother—70-year-old Diane Trest—causing fatal head trauma and later attempted to steal car keys before fleeing, and she has been arrested and charged with murder and burglary.
