- ➤ A 27-year-old Fairhope mother was shot five times at her Shellbrook Pointe apartment on Sunday evening while her young son stayed safe, and she later underwent surgery at USA Trauma Center in Mobile as doctors treated her chest, back, arm and midsection injuries while police reported the shooter, Brian Medley, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound after trying to start a relationship with her. 1819 News
- ➤ Mobile County authorities are searching for 16-year-old Tera Kate Bolivar, a runaway from Cairo, GA who was last seen on July 20 at 8:30 p.m. wearing red shorts, a white shirt and black shoes (she is 5'4" and weighs about 135-145 pounds) and believed to be heading to Mobile County, so anyone with information should contact law enforcement. - ➤ Six suspects charged with murder faced a packed Mobile courtroom over the April 17 shooting death of Frenicka Craig at Sage Park during a basketball game—detectives are still investigating which individual fired the gun amid rising tensions between rival groups. WKRG News 5
