- ➤ Baldwin County Sheriff's Office arrested 31-year-old Daniel Allen Hartman of Loxley on July 15 on charges of rape 1st degree + sexual abuse of a child under 12 after a nine-year investigation revealed he preyed on children in two states. NBC 15

- ➤ The Mobile County Commission awarded a $24.4 million contract to Ben M. Radcliff Contractor, Inc.—for the City Docks redevelopment in Bayou La Batre. Construction will begin soon and is expected to finish in about two years, bringing improved waterfront facilities for locals. The Mobile Rundown
- ➤ Mobile Airport Authority said that the new terminal at Mobile International Airport will open in fall 2026 and its first flight will depart in November 2026—work on the 1,250-space parking garage and elevated roadway is scheduled to complete by March. - ➤ USA Health has introduced histotripsy, a new noninvasive treatment that uses focused ultrasound to break apart liver tumors without harming healthy tissue (doctors start the procedure with a simple tap on a screen).
