A Fairhope man evaded a police stop in Foley on July 12 until his vehicle wrecked into a power pole and a natural gas valve, causing a gas leak and live electrical line hazard that led officers to extract him with minimal injuries and arrest him on DUI and felony eluding charges — he also faces additional misdemeanor charges.
A free festival honoring Jimmy Buffett will be held on Saturday, September 20 in downtown Mobile at Riverview Plaza, Dauphin Street, and Cathedral Square.
