- ➤ Prichard police and fire officials responded on Saturday at 4:49 p.m. to a report of a possible drowning at Chickasabogue Park, plus flotilla units from Satsuma, Saraland, and Mobile recovered the body of a Black male from Chickasabogue Creek at 7:41 p.m. while authorities hold his identity until next of kin are notified and the investigation continues. - ➤ Gov. Kay Ivey declared that ADOC will use nitrogen hypoxia to execute Geoffrey Todd West—convicted of capital murder for killing a gas station attendant nearly 30 years ago—with a 30-hour window set to begin at midnight on September 25 and end on September 26. 1819 News
