- ➤ A Wilmer mother of four, Brittany Sherman, was killed in a boat collision near Bayou Sara on Sunday at 5:50 p.m. — her husband Cody Sherman and their four-year-old child were injured — and taken to USA Health University Hospital. 1819 News

- ➤ Prichard police put an officer on leave after bystander video showed him allegedly hitting a man with a baseball bat while city officials review the incident. Lagniappe Daily
- ➤ On June 12th, the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office stopped a Cadillac XTS on Interstate 65 and seized 22 pounds of cocaine valued at $250,000—arresting Texas residents Dominick Balli and James Godbe on trafficking charges while holding them on a $1,000,000 bond as the investigation continues.
