A 2-year-old child was shot in the face while sleeping with their parents in Prichard at 1:02 a.m. on Wednesday—Mobile County Sheriff’s Office detectives have interviewed witnesses and the parents but have made no arrests.

U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville raised over $3 million in the first week of his 2026 gubernatorial campaign, with his finance report showing $3,051,735.91 in cash on hand and more than $2 million raised in the first 24 hours.
