The City of Mobile invites residents to mentor local teens through the Harmon CARES program — offering one-hour sessions for sharing career expertise in art, music, and trades.

Volunteer sessions will run weekdays from June 8 to July 24 at the Harmon-Thomas Community Center.

Alexia Jayy, an Irvington native and winner of season 29 of The Voice, will sing the National Anthem in Cathedral Square on Friday, June 12 at LODA Artwalk.

Her performance will kick off a day celebrating local art and music.
