- ➤ Chefs from across the state gathered at The Wharf in Orange Beach for Sweet Grown Alabama’s 10th annual Seafood Cookoff on May 21. - ➤ Mobile's new downtown International Airport terminal is set to open early next year with an initial five-gate design and space for retail shops (designed to allow future expansion), while passengers will wait until 2027 for flights. - ➤ Mobile's new $362M International Airport Terminal will open early 2027 (located at 2455 Michigan Ave) with five gates, a coffee shop, restaurant, gift shop and grab-and-go bar and room for future expansion.
