Tommy Tuberville was swatted on Christmas Day 2023 when a fake call reporting a hostage situation with a ransom demand led police to search a gated resort community—this marked his second swatting incident amid questions over his residency as he eyes a potential governor run. - ➤ The City of Orange Beach will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for the Margaritaville Resort at The Wharf on May 14 at 10 a.m. The 70-acre project will feature Margaritaville bars and restaurants, entertainment, a resort pool, cottages, condominiums, retail and meeting space, with developers, local dignitaries and community leaders offering updates — the first phase will open in 2027 — and the resort will be complete by spring. 1819 News
