CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Mobile County woman Cheryl Lynn, 30, was arrested on Wednesday for reckless manslaughter after her 2011 Honda Accord left the road on Tuesday at about 9:17 p.m. on U.S. Route 45—killing an unrestrained 5-year-old and injuring a 1-year-old and 7-year-old, with a $100,000 bond set. AL.com
- ➤ Four suspects in the deadly Sage Park gang shooting remain in jail after a judge denied their bond Friday morning — they face murder and assault charges after Frenicka Craig, 28, died and another man was seriously injured — District Attorney Keith Blackwood said they will be held until trial under Aniah's Law. - ➤ On Tuesday, May 6, near Chunchula on U.S. 45, a 2011 Honda Accord left the road and hit a tree in Mobile County, killing a 5-year-old who was not in a child seat—driver Cheryl D. Lynn of Citronelle was injured, later arrested on charges of reckless manslaughter, and held on a $100,000 bond while two other young passengers were taken to a hospital. UTV 44
