- ➤ Mobile Police confirmed that Jonathan Braswell, a 50-year-old reported missing on Friday, was identified as the victim of a hit-and-run that occurred earlier in the week near Greenlawn Drive and Morningside Drive—traffic homicide investigators are now working the case. AL.com

- ➤ A new video shows dredge spoil dumped into Mobile Bay as part of a port widening project — experts warn that dumping 90 million cubic yards of spoil over 20 years could damage oyster reefs and seagrass.
