- ➤ The Optimist Club of Perdido Bay hosts its 21st Annual Kids Fishing Rodeo on Saturday, May 2 (9 a.m.–noon) at Schaff Pond (32695 Bartel St) for kids ages 2–12 with an adult; bring your own gear as awards go to the longest, shortest and most fish caught. Gulf Coast Media
- ➤ Baldwin County will host its inaugural Cowfest on April 18 at the Baldwin County Coliseum from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. the festival offers free admission and parking and features goat roping, a steer show, antique tractor exhibits and activities for all ages (a small fee applies for some attractions).
