- ➤ During Mobile Mardi Gras, officers from Mobile, Auburn, Jackson and Texas lined up on motorcycles at Church and Claiborne Streets to honor the national anthem and help with crowd control (their presence provided essential training for handling large crowds). NBC 15
- ➤ Fairhope will hold its annual Arbor Day Celebration on Saturday, Feb. 21 at Coastal Alabama Community College. The ceremony starts at 10 a.m. under the Live Oak (by the John Borom Science Building) and will feature contest award recognitions and a tree seedling giveaway until noon. UTV 44
