- ➤ Fairhope City Council approved a resolution to protect Mobile Bay after citizens raised concerns about dredge material placement. State lawmakers plan bills so that 70% of dredge material is used beneficially, and council members said the resolution supports both economic growth and a healthy bay. 1819 News
- ➤ The City of Mobile is inviting applications for the $50M economic development loan program to boost growth+ create jobs and encourage long-term investments. The Neighborhood Development Department will begin reviews on March 2, 2026 for eligible projects while higher education applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. UTV 44
